This 54-page A4 guide, written by CA members Andy and Gwen Mulholland, who have cruised extensively over the past decade in France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, and edited by Gordon Knight. The guide covers the 394kms of the river from Neuves-Maisons in France through Luxembourg and Germany (where it is known as the Mosel) to finally join the Rhine at Koblenz. It includes step-by-step navigation details for the river, including distances; bridge heights; lock dimensions and VHF channels; descriptions of moorings and facilities, and information on the sights, culture and visitor attractions along the route.

It is the first to provide comprehensive information on this cruising route in English and is written by CA members Andy and Gwen Mulholland, who have cruised extensively over the past decade in France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, and edited by Gordon Knight.

Aimed at motor yachts with a draught of 2.5m or below and capable of reducing air draft to a maximum of 4.4m, the guide includes step-by-step navigation details for the river, including distances; bridge heights; lock dimensions and VHF channels; descriptions of moorings and facilities, and information on the sights, culture and visitor attractions along the route.

Also included is a 25% discount offer on first year's Cruising Association membership.

The guide is regularly updated (usually annually) using reports submitted by members of the CA's European Inland Waterways Section (EIWS) and incorporates numerous hyperlinks to a wealth of additional information. Non-members benefit from numerous hyperlinks in green to additional information on the internet, while CA members (who can download all EIWS guides for free) also benefit from further hyperlinks to the CA's award-winning app CAptain's Mate to obtain the most up to date information on mooring locations and navigational restrictions as it is posted.

If you would like a hard copy as well, all the guides can also be purchased in full colour A4 printed format from the print-on-demand publishers Lulu.

For information on the additional benefits (in addition to free PDF downloads of all the EIWS guides) available to members, please see EIWS webpage.

CA members can download a PDF of the guide for free from the members' pages of the CA website.
