This guide covers the Canal Latéral à l’Aisne, which runs for 51 kms from its junction with the Canal des Ardennes at the lock of Vieux-lès-Asfeld 3 kms below the town of Asfeld south-west to the double lock of Celles some 2 kms below the town of Vailly-sur-Aisne.
Details are provided on all the marinas, haltes and other mooring points (even picnic stops) along the waterways, together with information on facilities, shopping and nearby attractions. Each mooring is illustrated with a colour photo.
