This guide covers the Petite Saône, which runs for 159 kms from the town of Saint-Jean-de-Losne (south of which it is called the Grande Saône) to the town of Corre, where it connects with the Canal des Vosges leading north into the River Moselle. For the purposes of this guide, we have extended it to Verdun-sur-le-Doubs for the benefit of boats entering from or travelling down to the Canal du Centre.
Details are provided on all the marinas, haltes and other mooring points (even picnic stops) along the waterway, together with information on facilities, shopping and nearby attractions. Each mooring point is illustrated by a colour photo, meaning that the guide is the only detailed pictorial reference available for cruising on this waterway.

Reports on all the moorings are also included on CAptain's Mate, the CA's proprietary app, enabling them to be regularly updated by CA members posting online reports using the app.
